Fly to Tuxtla Gutierrez making sure you get there before 3:00 p.m.  We pick you up at the airport and we take you to visit the Sumidero Canyon on a boat trip.  Continue to the Colonial city of Chiapa de Corzo and then to San Cristobal de Las Casas for overnight

Spend the day exploring San Cristobal and it's surroundings.  Markets, colonial churches and Indian Villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan

Depart from San Cristobal and on the way to Comitan, visit the Indian potters village of Amatenango del Valle and the Chiflón waterfall.  Continue to the colonial city of Comitan for overnight. 

Leave Comitan with luggage and on the way to Las Guacamayas visit the Montebello Lakes and Las Nubes waterfalls.  Spend the day trekking and enjoying nature at its best.  Overnight in the Jungle lodge of Ara Macao at Las Guacamayas in the Jungle.  

This day is devoted to enjoying the Lacandon rainforest reserve.  Trekking, swimming in the rivers, watching macaws and monkeys.  Choose the activities for the day at this jungle lodge and use your time to be in touch with the natural world.  Overnight at Las Guacamayas.

Early start to explore the Maya ruins of Yaxchilan on the Usumacinta river, we take a boat to get there.  We then continue to Bonampak to see the best preserved Maya frescoes from the Classic period.  After that we continue to Palenque.  Overnight in Palenque.

In the morning we visit the greatest of Maya sites in Chiapas, Palenque.  We will have a chance to admire the tomb of king Pakal.  The greatest king Palenque had, who ordered the construction of a monumental tomb for himself.  After visiting the site we will continue to the Villahermosa airport.  Please make sure your flight leaves any time after 3:00 p.m.
